Summary:
With the help of parents and caregivers that have been involved in communities, San Mateo County (SMC) Behavioral Health & Recovery Services (BHRS) created a Health Ambassador Program (HAP) that offers a variety of mental health focused classes for parents and caregivers in the community. HAP intends to strengthen the communities by identifying individuals who may be at risk or at need for mental health services, and connecting them to available medical and mental health services.
