Across California, millions of caregivers- friends and family members, as well as those employed in the direct care workforce- serve those who need assistance with everyday tasks to live well in their homes and communities. As the population ages, resources and support that empower family and friends who are providing care and provide professional development and dignified wages to paid caregiver are necessary.
