Summary:
Petaluma Bounty is a community-based nonprofit that helps people grow their own healthy food, collects and redistributes surplus food, and provides affordable fresh food to low-income families and seniors. Petaluma Bounty addresses food insecurity, diet-related disease, food waste, community food resiliency, and barriers to volunteering to support these community efforts. The program includes volunteer Bounty Hunters that harvest, collect, and redistribute food, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) produce box delivery to low-income families, a community farm, and education.
