This innovation seeks to leverage the nutrition expertise of WIC staff to provide reimbursable preventive health benefits made possible via the Affordable Care Act. The goal is to provide more comprehensive nutrition and breastfeeding preventive services to a wider population. The innovation would involve use of WIC trained staff in community clinics.
